up and running, might need to do some param tuning but so far seems to be chugging through. this is 1gbps , but im requesting a 10 gbps link for this box

i think i may have found the issue. perhaps race condition isnt the best way to frame it but it does look a deadlock can happen. https://github.com/libbitcoin/libbitcoin-node/blob/75fd039ba9a51951e1542ef78a97c26167ae63bd/src/chasers/chaser_validate_batch.cpp#L52 the comment says batched_ is only a sort optimisation, but process_valids() uses batched_ afaict as the only source of blocks to mark valid and then clears it
